[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3월 2일 강릉시는 공식운영을 시작한 청년센터 두루를 통해 청년들의 수요에 맞춰 다양한 프로그램을 기획․운영하고 청년과 함께 성장하는 강릉만들기에 본격 돌입했다고 전했다.

청년의 재능을 기반으로 같은 청년에게 강의를 진행하는 '청년의 〇〇을 삽니다' 프로그램을 오는 5월부터 9월까지 5개월간 진행될 예정이며, 분야는 창업, 인문학, 문화, 외국어, 요리, 서핑, 운동 및 미디어편집 등 청년에게 필요하거나 청년이 관심 있어 하는 모든 분야의 주제가 가능하고 같은 생각과 눈높이를 가진 청년들이 여러 경험과 지식을 공유하여 긍정적인 자극과 용기를 주며, 서로가 성장할 수 있는 기회가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다고 했다.

현장 중심의 프로젝트를 통해 사회적 공헌 활동을 주도적으로 함께 이끌어갈 청년들의 탐구생활 'MEET UP 프로그램'을 오는 5월부터 8월까지 운영하며, 'MEET UP 프로그램'은 청년 공익활동 참여 기회를 확대하고, 지역연계 활동 및 특정 주제를 연구하며 강릉에 거주하는 삶에 대한 이해를 통해 청년주도적 성장기반을 마련하고자 기획되었다고 전했다.
