[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 농업분야 교육을 통해 전문농업 경영인을 양성하고 농산물 고부가가치 창출과 지역농업발전에 기여하기 위해 ‘2022년 제2회 태백시 농업인대학’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

농업인대학은 지난 2021년 농산물가공학과를 시작으로, 올해 제2회를 맞이해 ‘농업비즈니스리더양성학과’와 ‘여성농업인양성학과’ 2개 과정으로 이론과 실습, 현장교육으로 진행된다고 했다.

농업비즈니스리더 양성학과는 6차산업 등 농업경영, 마케팅, 가공 관련 기초교육으로 구성, 여성농업인양성학과는 제과·제빵, 꽃차, 공예품, 효율적 정리수납, 공통과정 등 치유농업 관련 교육으로 편성돼 오는 5월부터 11월까지 7개월 간 농업기술센터에서 진행될 예정이라고 전했다. 

모집인원은 농업비즈니스리더양성학과 20명, 여성농업인양성학과 25명으로 총 45명이며, 교육을 희망하는 관내 거주 농업인과 시민은 오는 22일까지 농업기술센터 농업지원팀으로 방문접수하면 된다고 했다.

한편, 태백시농업인대학은 지난해 27명의 졸업생을 배출했다고 전했다.
