[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 경기도지사 출마를 선언한 안민석 국회의원은 경기 SW·AI 교육지원센터를 방문해 AI 교육 정책 간담회를 진행하고, 미래인재 양성을 위한 경기도 권역별 AI 교육지원센터를 추진한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 간담회에는 더불어민주당 이용우 국회의원(고양시정)을 비롯해 고양시 고은정 도의원, 김운남・김미수・김덕심 시의원이 함께 참석했다고 전했다.

최근 고양미래인재교육센터 내에 개관한 경기 SW・AI 교육지원센터는 학생, 학부모, 교사, 지역주민을 대상으로 SW와 AI 관련 방과 후 단기 프로젝트, 고교학점제 공동교육과정, 교원 대상 SW・AI교육 역량 강화 연수, 전문 SW・AI 교구 대여 및 지원 등 다양한 교육과 체험・실습 프로그램을 운영하고 있다고 했다.

안 의원이 추진하는 경기도 권역별 가족체험형 AI 교육지원센터는 ‘경기도 균형발전 10-10-1(텐텐원)’전략 사업의 일환으로 경기도와 교육청이 공동 투자하여 사교육 없이도 가능한 AI 교육지원 시스템을 구축하고, 가족과 학생들이 하루 동안 체류할 수 있는 다양한 교육체험 프로그램과 교육문화복합공간을 조성한다는 계획이라고 했다. 

한편 ‘안민석의 10-10-1(텐텐원)’이란 경기도 31개 시군을 10개 상생생활권으로 조성, 권역별로 10개 행복기반시설과 특화산업 조성, 수도권 30분대 광역교통망과 원철도(OCR)를 구축한다는 경기도 자치분권과 균형발전 전략이라고 전했다. 

안민석 의원은 “경기도와 민관이 협력해 가족 구성원 모두가 AI를 즐길 수 있는 시대를 열겠다”라며 “대한민국의 4차 산업혁명 시대, 미래교육을 경기도가 선도하도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
