[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 15일 경기도지사 선거에 출마하는 안민석 국회의원은 반도체 관련 학과 대학생들과 함께 삼성전자 평택캠퍼스를 방문했다고 밝혔다. 

이어 기자회견을 통해 안민석 의원은 “반도체 산업은 국가 안보이자 경제 성장과 일자리 창출의 핵심 산업으로 세계 각국이 반도체 패권전쟁에 총력을 다 하고 있다”며 “문재인 정부와 이재명 전 경기도지사가 시작한 반도체 대표사업인 경기도 반도체 벨트를 완성하고, 반도체 인재 양성을 위한 경기도 반도체 대학 설립을 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다. 

안 의원은 과도한 규제 등으로 지연되고 있는 SK하이닉스 용인 반도체 클러스터를 언급하며“경기도가 전폭적으로 투자하고 규제를 합리적으로 완화하겠다”며 “대기업과 중견·중소기업이 상생하는 반도체 생태계를 조성하여 세계 최고의 반도체 기술력과 안정된 공급망을 구축하겠다”고 약속했다.

또한 반도체 산업계의 인재 양성 요구에 대해서는 “세계 각국이 사활을 걸고 있는 상황에서 반도체 인재 육성을 위한 결단과 추진력이 필요하다”며 “민·관·학 공동으로 경기도에 반도체 대학을 설립하겠다”고 강한 의지를 밝혔다. 

안 의원이 대표 발의한 「한국인공지능・반도체공과대학교법안」은 정부와 지자체 그리고 반도체 산업계가 공동으로 설립하여 대학재정의 안정성과 교육과 연구의 자율성을 최대한 보장하고, 반도체 인재 양성 컨트롤타워로써 전국 반도체 기관과 협력하여 연구와 현장실무를 아우르는 전문인력을 양성한다는 제정법이라고 했다. 

국가전략산업 특성상 긴밀한 산학 협력을 위해 경기도 반도체 벨트에 반도체 대학을 설립할 수 있도록 수도권정비계획법 적용을 받지 않는 특례 규정을 뒀으며, 반도체 벨트를 품은 경기도에 변화를 가져올 수 있을지 귀추가 주목된다고 했다.

한편 안민석 의원이 추진하는 경기도 반도체 산업 육성과 반도체 대학 설립은‘경기도 균형발전 10-10-1(텐텐원)’전략사업의 일환이라고 전했다. 

‘안민석의 10-10-1(텐텐원)’이란 경기도 31개 시군을 10개 상생생활권으로 조성, 권역별로 10개 행복기반시설과 특화산업 조성, 수도권 30분대 광역교통망과 원철도(OCR)를 구축한다는 구상이라고 했다.
