이날 임용식은 소방서 3층 대회의실에서 코로나19 방역수칙을 준수한 가운데 임용신고 및 기념촬영이 진행됐으며, 임용식에는 박미상 서장, 각 과장 및 단장이 참석해 신규 소방공무원들의 새로운 출발을 축하하고 격려했다고 전했다.

신규 소방공무원 12명은 양주소방서 각 119안전센터에 배치되어 현장의 최일선에서 시민의 생명과 안전을 보호하는 업무를 수행하게 된다고 했다.
