[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 18일 의정부시 어린이집연합회 공립·법인·직장 어린이집 분과는 제11회 소아암 어린이 돕기 성금을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

올해로 11번째인 소아암 어린이 돕기 성금 기탁은 매년 의정부 관내 소아암 어린이를 돕기 위한 어린이집 바자회 개최 수익금으로 마련했으나, 지속적인 코로나19 확산으로 인해 바자회를 개최하지 못하고 어린이집 유관 기업들의 사회공헌활동 및 어린이집의 자발적인 모금 참여활동으로 진행됐다고 했다.

의정부시 공립·법인·직장분과 소속 37개 어린이집에서 800만 원, ㈜누리교육 300만 원, 예밀포도마을 팜스테이 영농조합법인 200만 원, 풀무원푸드머스경기북부키즈 200만 원을 더해 총 1천5백만 원을 기부했다고 전했다.

아울러 공립·법인·직장어린이집 분과에서는 2011년도부터 올해까지 11년간 의정부시 거주 소아암 환아를 위해 후원금을 기탁하고 있으며, 어린이집에 친환경 농산물을 지원하고 있는 예밀포도마을 팜스테이 영농조합법인에서는 2018년도부터 동참, 2019년에는 ㈜누리교육, 2020년에는 풀무원푸드머스에서도 모금에 참여해 그간 총 8천 8백만 원의 후원금을 기탁했다고 했다.
