국민연금의 경우 지역가입자이면서 기준소득월액 220만 원 미만, 재산세 과세표준액 2억 원 미만, 연 사업소득 금액 900만 원 미만 등의 요건을 충족해야 한다고 했다.

원주시 홈페이지(고시/공고)에 게시된 공고문의 지원신청서를 작성해 읍면동 행정복지센터에 방문 접수하면 심사를 통해 지원 여부가 결정되고, 특히, 소급 신청은 당해연도에 대해서만 가능한 만큼, 반드시 4분기 접수 기간 내에 신청해야 한다고 했다.
