[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 재단법인 춘천지혜의숲이 2022년 사전연명의료의향서 등록기관 재정지원사업단체로 선정되었다고 밝혔다.

사전연명의료의향서는 19세 이상 성인이 향후 자신이 임종과정에 있는 환자가 되었을 때를 대비하여 연명의료 중단·결정 및 호스피스에 관한 의사를 문서로 작성하는 것이라고 했다.

춘천지혜의숲은 지난 2021년 11월 19일 보건복지부로부터 사전연명의료의향서 등록기관으로 지정되었으며, 사전연명의료의향서에 대한 상담·등록 및 홍보활동을 진행중이라고 했다.

국가생명윤리정책원의 사전연명의료의향서 등록기관 사업활성화와 원활한 운영을 위한 공모에 참여한 결과 지원 대상으로 선정됐으며, 이에 따라 앞으로 춘천지역 및 영서지역의 거점기관으로서 연명의료 결정제도와 사전연명의료의향서에 대한 교육과 홍보를 확대할 수 있게 됐다고 전했다.
