주요 고갯길에 설치한 자동염수분사장치 13개소와 제설장비 ‘다목적차량 3대, 임차 8대, 덤프 3대, 굴삭기 2대, 제설기 및 살포기 등’에 대한 점검을 완료했고, 광덕고개와 청계고개에 자동염수분사장치를 추가로 설치 중이며, 제설제는 2,700톤, 친환경제설제 880톤을 확보했으며 안정적인 제설을 위해 추가 구입할 예정이라고 했다.

포천시 관계자는 “겨울철 대설과 결빙으로 인한 주민 불편이 최소화되도록 도로 제설에 최선을 다하겠다.”라며 “시민 여러분들도 폭설이 내리면 차량 운행을 가급적 자제하고, 내 집 앞· 내 점포 앞 눈 치우기 등에 적극적인 참여와 협조를 부탁드린다.”라고 말했다.
