이중진 새마을협의회 회장은 “늘 지역의 좋은일 궂은일을 마다하지않고 참여하여 주시는 새마을회원들께 감사드리고 깨끗하게 정비된 공원을 주민들에게 제공할 수 있게 되어 보람을 느낀다”고 말했다.

또한 안동석 청평면장은 주말 이른 시간에도 불구하고 청평면 새마을 남녀회원님들이 솔선수범하여 깨끗한 공원조성을 위해 참여해 주셔서 감사드리고, 장기화된 코로나 상황으로 어려운 시기에 주민들의 마음에 잠시라도 휴식의 공간이 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.
