[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 의정부시 안병용 시장은 (사)용현산업단지 기업인협의회, 의정부푸드뱅크마켓과 함께 기부식품 등 제공사업 활성화 추진을 위한 협약을 체결하면서 행복한 동행을 위한 나눔 운동을 전개했다고 밝혔다. 

지난 5월 24일 의정부시청 상황실에서 개최된 '행복한 동행을 위한 나눔 운동 업무협약식'은 안병용 의정부시장, 노시정 (사)용현산업단지 기업인협의회 회장, 최재혁 의정부푸드뱅크마켓 대표 등 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 각 기관장 인사말씀, 협약체결, 후원금 기증식 등의 순으로 진행됐다고 말했다. 

이번 업무협약은 기관과의 업무협약을 통해 식품 및 생활용품의 기부를 활성화하고 기부된 식품 등을 생활이 어려운 취약계층에 지원하여 의정부시의 기부식품 등 제공사업의 활성화를 위해 마련되었다고 했다. 

의정부시는 기부식품 등 제공사업장 활성화 지원, (사)용현산업단지 기업인협의회는 저소득주민을 위한 기부물품 제공, 의정부푸드뱅크마켓은 기부식품의 안전한 관리 및 균형 배분을 위해 노력할 것을 각각 협의했다고 말했다.

아울러 노시정 (사)용현산업단지 기업인협의회 회장은 행복한 동행을 위한 나눔 운동의 첫걸음으로 후원금 200만 원을 기탁하며 “코로나19 확산으로 많은 기업들도 어려운 상황이지만 생활이 어려운 저소득층을 위해 작지만 힘을 보태고자 기부하게 되었다”고 말했다.

안병용 의정부시장은 “국가적 재난상황으로 모두가 힘든 시기에 따뜻한 마음을 전달해 주신 용현산업단지 기업인협의회 회원님들께 감사드리며,  이번 업무협약을 통해 의정부시의 기부식품등 제공사업이 활성화되어 생활이 어려운 저소득층에게 따뜻한 손길이 이어지길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
