[김학영 기자=경기 북부] 지난해 양평군은 코로나 19 거리두기가 장기화 되어 많은 힘겨운 시간을 보낸 반면 성금과 물품 기탁은 크게 증가했다고 밝혔다.

지난 2019년 해피나눔 성금은 4억 3백만원이던 반면에 지난해는 전년대비 200% 증가된 8억 9백만원이 모금되어 코로나 19속 따듯한 나눔이 진행되었고 개인 후원자와 기관단체에서 640명의 많은 후원자들이 나왔고 14억 8천만원이라는 큰 후원금이 양평군 12개의 읍면에 소외된 이웃에게 따듯한 나눔이 되었다고 밝혔다.

지난해 기탁금 총액은 성금 8억 9백만원과 마스크를 비롯한 소독약제 등 코로나19 방역 용품과 쌀과 연탄, 난방용품 등의 물품 5억 9백만원 외에도 외부공모를 통한 1억 6천 2백만원을 합쳐 추산됐다.

기탁된 성금과 물품은 위기가구의 생계지원을 비롯해 65세 미만 저소득층 의치와 저소득가구 냉·난방용품, 설·추석 명절꾸러미 지원에 쓰였으며, 김장김치 나눔과 연탄·난방유 지원 등에도 배분됐다.

양평군수는 "모두가 어려움을 겪고 있음에도 주변의 어려운 이웃에게 관심을 갖고 후원해 주신 모든 분들께 감사드린다"며 "지난해는 사회적 거리는 멀었지만 마음 만큼은 훈훈한 한해였으며, 앞으로도 따뜻한 동행이 지속되길 희망한다"고 말했다.

한편, 군에서는 경기사회복지공동모금회와 함께 ‘언제나! 어디서나! 누구나! 행복나눔사업’ 해피나눔 1인1계좌 갖기를 진행하고 있다. 성금 모금액은 지역사회 맞춤형 복지사업을 추진하는데 사용되며, 기타 자세한 사항은 지역돌봄과 희망복지팀이나 읍면 복지팀으로 문의하면 된다.
