[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 오는 7일부터 18일까지 해빙기를 대비해 2022년 급경사지 안전관리 계획을 수립하고 점검에 나선다고 밝혔다.

해빙기 급경사지 낙석·붕괴사고 집중발생에 따라 시는 안전점검을 실시해 붕괴 위험성이 높은 지역은 응급복구 및 중장기 정비사업을 통해 안전관리를 강화할 계획이라고 했다.

또한 민간전문가와 함께 점검반을 편성해 급경사지에 대하여 구조물 및 지반의 균열, 침하, 융기, 지하수용출 등 발생여부, 상부사면의 낙석발생여부, 주변 배수시설 관리상태 등의 안전점검을 진행할 예정이라고 했다.

점검결과 현장에서 시정 가능한 사항은 즉시 시정하고 산사태 취약시설, 해빙기 취약시설 등에 대해서는 별도 보수, 보강 방안을 수립할 계획이라고 했다.

아울러 점검실명제 확대와 결과 공개 등을 통해 책임성과 신뢰도를 강화하고, 결과 및 조치사항을 재난관리업무포털 홈페이지에 현행화하는 등 꾸준히 관리할 예정이라고 했다. 

변형웅 건설과장은 “앞으로도 주민 안전을 행정의 최우선으로 두고 누구나 안심하고 살 수 있는 지역사회 조성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 시는 3월중 농업용 관정시설 일제점검을 통해 시설물 파손여부를 확인하고 물 사용량이 많은 농번기 이전 관정점검 및 보수를 완료할 계획이라고 전했다.

또한, 가뭄대비 농촌용수개발 중장기 계획을 수립하여 매년 반복되는 봄철 가뭄에 대응하고, 국비 등 예산확보에 총력을 다할 계획이라고 했다.
