[김준호 기자 = 삼척시] 삼척시(박상수시장)가 2023년 삼척정월대보름제의 시작을 알리는 신주빚기 행사를 오는  1월 28일 오전 10시 도계 점리 하늘아래 신주빚는 마을에서 개최한다.

삼수령전통주연구회가 주관하는 이번 행사는 시민들이 제공한 신주미로 빚은 신주는 삼척정월대보름제 제례행사에서 제주로 사용되거나 세시풍속 체험 등에 귀밝이술로 활용된다.

삼척시 대표축제인 2023년 삼척정월대보름제는 삼척 하늘에 다시 띄우는 보름달이라는 주제로 2월 3일 개막식과 축하공연을 시작으로 2월 5일까지 삼척 엑스포 광장과 시내 및 삼척해수욕장 일원에서 열린다.

산신제, 술비놀이, 기줄다리기, 별신굿판, 살대세우기, 달집태우기, 망월놀이 등 다양한 행사와 체험 프로그램이 마련된다. 또한, 읍면동별로 향토 별미장터도 운영하여 시민 화합의 마당이 될 수 있도록 할 예정이다.

한편, 지난 1월 12일부터 대학로 앞과 우체국 일원에 달등터널을 조성하고, 진주로, 척주로 일대에는 청사초롱 거리를 조성하는 등 다양한 볼거리로 삼척정월대보름제 행사에 앞서 사전분위기를 조성했다.
