[김준호 기자=삼척시] 삼척시 대표축제인 삼척정월대보름제가 '삼척 하늘에 다시 띄우는 보름달'이라는 주제로 2월 3일부터 2월 5일까지 3일간 삼척 엑스포 광장과 시내 척주로 및 삼척해수욕장 일원에서 개최된다.

삼척시가 주최하고 삼척정월대보름제위원회가 주관하는 이번 행사는 4년 만에 전면 대면 행사로 열리며 개막행사, 제례행사, 문화재행사, 경축행사, 민속놀이 행사 등 9개 분야 46종 행사가 진행된다. 올해는 지난 행사와 달리 엑스포 광장, 시내 척주로, 삼척해수욕장 등 행사장소를 다양화하여 시 전역에 축제 분위기를 조성한다.

삼척대표축제인 만큼 다양한 행사가 진행된다. 새해 소망 길놀이 행사, 유명 가수들의 축하공연, 드론쇼 등의 행사와 하장 댓재 산신각에서 산신제, 사직제, 천신제, 해신제 등 제례행사들도 진행되며 삼척초와 정라초의 속닥기줄다리기, 청아중과 삼일중의 중기줄다리기가 있으며 성인들이 하는 대기줄다리기 행사등 기줄다리기 행사도 진행된다. 

또한 엑스포광장에서는 다양한 체험행사들과 읍면동 별로 향토별미장터를 운영하며 특산품 판매부스와 푸드트럭 ,풍물시장 등 다양하게 즐길거리가 준비되어 있다. 

시는 행사장 내에 안전관리요원을 배치하고 유관기관과 협조하여 대피유도, 화재, 안전사고 예방, 응급의료, 차량통제 등 안전관리에도 철저히 대비할 계획이다.
