[김준호 기자=정선군] 정선군 최승준군수는 지난 6일 대한노인회 정선군지회 주관 제26회 정선군 노인의 날 기념식 및 제1회 어르신 한마당 축제에 참석했다.

정선종합경기장 보조경기장에 개최된 기념식에는 최승준 정선군수를 비롯하여 전영기 정선군의회 의장, 이근식 대한노인회 정선군지회장, 지역 어르신 등 1,000명이 참석했다.

이날 기념식은 실버합창단, 건강체조 등 식전공연과 노인복지증진에 기여한 모범노인 등 총 31명의 어르신에 대한 포상을 수여했다.

기념식에 이어 어르신 한마당 축제장은 어르신들이 서로 소통하며 건강을 다지는 화합하는 시간을 가졌다. 최승준 정선군수는 어르신들의 경험과 연륜을 통한 지혜를 우리 사회에  재투자하여 건강한 사회의 일원으로 우리사회를 이끌어 주시기 바란다고 전했다.
