[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시가 소통강화를 위해 분야별 간담회인 ‘허심탄회 토크’를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

지난 11일부터 19일까지 민선8기 취임과 동시에 소통행정을 위한 첫 행보인 공감·소통의 날 운영에 이어, 다양한 분야의 시민과 두 번째 소통행보를 이어간다.

첫날인 27일에는 전문건설협회 회원과 2만여명의 회원을 보유하고 있는 동해시 대표 카페인 동중맘 회원들과 시정에 대해 격의 없이 툭 터놓고 얘기하는 대화의 시간을 갖게 된다.

앞으로 시민단체 일정과 여건을 고려하여 다양한 계층을 초청, 건의 및 요구사항을 검토 후 시정에 반영할 계획이다.

동해시는 민선8기 출범 후 이번이 두 번째 소통행보로, 현장의 목소리를 반영한 시민 자치 기반을 마련하는 등 현장 소통행정을 강화해 나가고 다양한 분야 및 계층과의 소통행보를 넓혀 나간다는 방침이다.

심규언 시장은 “민선8기는 소통의 사각지대가 없도록 소외된 취약 계층에 대한 소통을 더욱 강화하는 한편, 낮은 문턱의 소통창구를  마련해 시민과의 소통기회를 더욱 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
