[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 20일 경기주택도시공사(GH)는 평택시에 위치한 사회복지시설 평강의 집에서 기존주택 전세임대 입주고객을 대상으로 세탁봉사 ‘지바세’ 캠페인을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

지바세 캠페인은 ‘지’에이치(GH)가 기존주택 전세임대 입주민에게 ‘바’퀴 달린 차량을 이용해 세탁물을 수거, ‘세’탁, 건조까지 지원하는 주거복지 서비스라고 했다. 

이날 사용된 세탁차량은 2020년 GH가 대한적십자사에 2억 5천만 원을 후원해 특수 제작된 차량으로 재난ㆍ재해 현장, 세탁 봉사활동 등 도움이 필요한 곳에서 활용되고 있다고 했다. 

입주민들의 만족도가 높았던 이 캠페인은 지난해에 이어 코로나19 장기화로 거주 공간의 위생이 중요시되는 상황에서 상대적으로 감염에 취약한 홀몸어르신, 장애인 등을 지원하기 위해 시행됐다고 했다.

이날 평택시 전세임대 계약자 중 거동이 불편한 10여 가구의 동절기 침구류를 직원들이 수거해 세탁, 건조한 후 직접 만든 테라리움 화분, 종량제 봉투와 함께 전달했다고 전했다.

GH 관계자는 ”용인세브란스 병원과 협업해 홀몸어르신에게 의료 돌봄 서비스를 제공하는 ‘지세봄’, 전세임대 입주자 대상 가정용 소방용품 지급 등 고객 중심의 생활밀착형 주거 서비스를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다“고 말했다.
