[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양양군이 대기환경 개선과 미세먼지 저감을 위해 친환경이륜차를 민간부문으로 확대 보급한다고 밝혔다.

대기오염물질 총배출량 중 자동차에서 배출되는 오염물질이 31.4%로 가장 높은 비중을 차지하고 있어 이에 대한 대책마련이 요구되는 상황이며, 지구온난화의 주범인 온실가스를 저감하고, 친환경자동차 보급을 활성화하기 위해 지난 2018년 이후 매년 대기오염 물질 및 이산화탄소 배출이 없는 전기자동차 및 이륜차 민간 보급 사업을 추진하고 있다고 전했다.

지난 3월부터 대당 최대 1,140만원을 지원하는 전기자동차는 총 73대 중 현재 10대에 대한 보조금이 지급되었으며, 전기 이륜차도 함께 신청을 받고 있다고 했다.
