운행경유차 배출가스 저감사업은 노후경유차 조기폐차지원사업과 함께 노후경유차 배출가스 저감장치 설치 지원, 건설기계 엔진교체지원, LPG 화물차 신차 구입 지원 등을 추진하고, 지원대상은 노후경유차 매연저감 장치의 경우 양양군에 등록된 배출가스 5등급 경유자동차 중 배출가스 저감장치 부착이 가능한 차량이라고 했다.

건설기계 엔진교체는 양양군에 등록차량 중 Tier-1이하의 엔진을 탑재한 지게차, 굴삭기 등 건설기계가 지원 대상이며, LPG화물차 신차구입 지원은 조기폐차 지원 대상이 되는 노후 경유차를 폐차한 후 LPG 1톤 화물차를 신차로 구매하는 차량 소유자이며, 지원 절차는 배출가스 저감장치 부착차종에 적합한 차량소유자가 장치제작사와 계약 후, 군에 승인을 받으면 장치를 부착할 수 있고, 신청기간은 3월 2일부터 예산 소진 시까지라고 전했다.
