[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 대기환경 개선을 통한 시민의 건강보호에 앞장서기 위하여 2021년 건설기계(굴착기·지게차) 엔진교체 지원 사업을 추진하고 있다고 밝혔다.

지원대상 규모는 15대 2억여 원이고, 10월 현재 9명이 신청하여 올해 6대에 대하여 추가로 지원할 계획이며, 접수일 기준 사용본거지가 의정부시이고 Tier-1이하의 엔진을 탑재한 지게차, 굴착기 등 건설기계인 경우 신청이 가능(‘04. 12. 31. 이전 제작 차량 모두 해당)하다고 했다.   

신청방법은 경유 사용 건설기계 소유자가 지원신청서(구비서류 포함)를 제작사로 신청, 접수하면 되고, 기타 자세한 문의는 의정부시 환경관리과 및 제작사(이알인터내셔널, 알오씨오토시스템, 크린어스, 에이치케이엠엔에스, 이엔드디, 세라컴)로 하면 된다고 전했다.

의정부시 환경관리과장은 “보조금 지급가능 기한(‘21. 12월)이 얼마 남지 않았으니 미세먼지 저감을 통한 대기환경 개선과 노후 건설기계 저공해조치 법적 의무화로 총 공사금액 100억 이상 관급공사장에서는 저공해 미조치 건설기계 사용이 제한되니 신청을 서둘러 달라”고 당부했다.
