대상 농기계는 2013년 이전에 생산된 트랙터와 콤바인으로 농협 면세유 관리시스템에 등록된 정상 가동되는 농기계여야 하고, 지원대상은 농업경영체에 등록된 농업인·농업법인이며 보조금 신청일 기준으로 해당 농기계를 6개월 이상 소유해야 한다고 했다.

노후 농기계의 조기폐차 시 지원 금액은 기종별 규격과 제조연도 등에 따라 보조금을 차등 지원하며 트랙터는 100만원 ~ 2,249만원까지, 콤바인은 100만원 ~ 1,310만원까지 지원된다고 했다.

폐차업체에서 농기계 가동상태 여부를 확인하고 폐차 후 폐차 확인서를 발급받으면 보조금을 지원받을 수 있으며, 노후 경유 농기계 폐차지원을 희망하는 농업인 등은 양주시 농업기술센터 농업정책과로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.

양주시 관계자는 “쾌적한 대기환경 조성을 위해 조기 폐차를 적극 지원할 계획”이라며 “농업분야 미세먼지 배출량을 줄일 수 있도록 농업인들의 적극적인 참여 부탁한다”고 말했다.
