[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 1월 25일부터 원주시는 산림청이 구축한 ‘산지전용통합정보시스템’을 시범 운영한다고 밝혔다.

산지전용통합정보시스템은 산지 분야의 민원 접수부터 사후관리까지 전자적으로 처리할 수 있는 시스템으로, 시범 운영을 거쳐 올해 하반기(7월경)에 도내 18개 시군에서 시행된다고 했다.

처리대상 민원은 산지전용허가(신고), 산지 일시 사용허가(신고), 대체 산림자원 조성비 부과·징수, 용도변경의 승인, 토석채취허가(신고), 채석단지 지정·해제, 채석 신고 등 산지전용 업무 전반이라고 했다.

그동안 산지 분야 인허가 민원은 사업계획서, 각종 조사서 등 서류를 지참해 방문 신청만 가능했으나 이번 시스템 구축으로 비대면 온라인 민원 처리가 가능하게 됐다고 했다.

원주시 관계자는 “이 시스템으로 민원인의 불편함이 줄고 민원 처리가 신속하고 효율적으로 처리될 것으로 보인다.”라고 말했다.
