[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 평창군은 평창읍 주민을 대상으로 ‘2021 평창읍 마을리더 및 마을활동가 양성교육’ 기초과정 교육생에 대한 수료식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 리더 및 활동가 교육 과정은 총 6회차로, 마을활동가의 역할과 사회적 경제조직에 대한 이해, 자원 발굴 및 활용 커뮤니케이션에 대한 이해, 마을활동가 활동 사례 등을 주제로 한 기초과정으로, 수료생 8명을 배출했고, 마을활동가는 마을 구석의 현장에 목소리에 귀 기울이고, 주민공동체에 존재하는 갈등을 최소화하며, 주민이 원하는 본질을 파악하고 공무원과 소통하는 역할로, 복잡·다변화되는 현대에 그 역할과 중요성은 점차 강조되고 있다고 했다.
