[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 8일 ‘희망여행in플랫폼’에서 '희망마을공정여행사 육성과정' 수료식이 개최되었다고 밝혔다. 

본 교육과정은 희망리 일원 국토부 도시재생예비사업 '홍천여행의 시작! 희망리 주민이 만드는 여행플랫폼'의 일환으로 추진되었고, 주민 주도의 마을공정여행사 설립을 위한 주민역량을 강화해 나가고자 지난 10월 20일~11월 17일 희망리 및 홍천군 주민을 대상으로 매주 수요일 오후 2~5시 5일간 진행되었다고 했다. 

주민수강생은 교육기간 마을여행 및 마을여행 플랫폼에 관한 다양한 전문 강의를 수강했으며 관련 마을여행 사례지를 방문해 현지 주민활동가들을 만나 보기도 했으며, 마지막 지난 12월 8일 6주차 교육일에는 주민수강생들이 직접 홍천마을여행상품을 만들어 보는 실습발표 진행 후 수료식이 이어졌다고 했다. 

수료생들은 향후 희망리 주민협의체의 마을여행사 분과에서 활동해 나갈 예정이고, 도시재생예비사업으로 조성되는 희망리 주민 거점공간 ‘희망여행in플랫폼’은 홍천터미널 인근 과거 희망경로당이었던 건물을 리모델링하여 조성되었으며 올 12월 중 정식 개소할 예정이라고 전했다. 

홍천군도시재생지원센터 최소영 센터장은 “희망리가 홍천 방문객들에게 관문 마을이 될 수 있도록 거점공간이 마을여행사 및 공유부엌 프로그램과 함께 활성화되길 기대 한다”며 해당 거점공간이“주민들에게는 마을공동체 활성화 및 주민 자립적 비즈니스 모델을 발굴하는 마을거점 공간으로 운영되는 동시에, 홍천을 방문하는 여행객들에게는 홍천여행의 연결고리 공간으로서 자리 잡아 나갈 예정”이라고 밝혔다.
