대학생들로 구성된 서포터즈는, 전공에 상관없이 교류하며 새로운 감각이 돋보이는 홍보 아이디어를 다수 발굴 하고 디자인 전공자와 비전공자가 함께하는 팀 활동을 통해 디자인 역량을 키워왔다고 했다.

진흥원 홍보서포터즈는 디자인문화 선도와 확산에 힘을 보태는 홍보대사로 강원도내 대학생이면 누구나 참여할 수 있고, 강원디자인진흥원은 디자인 문화 확산을 위해 서포터즈의 네트워킹을 강화하며, 서포터즈가 자긍심을 갖고 활동할 수 있도록 지원할 것이라고 전했다.
