[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 4일 원주시는 창조적인 청년리더 발굴과 역량 강화를 위한 『제1기 원주 청년리더 아카데미』 수료식을 오키드 호텔에서 개최했다고 밝혔다.

수료식에서는 6개 분야별로 팀을 이뤄 그동안 활동한 결과물인 정책제안 학습발표를 했고, 35명의 아카데미 수강생들에게 수료증을 전달했다고 했다.

‘원주 청년리더 아카데미’는 6월부터 12월까지 월 1~2회 총 10회에 걸쳐 청년정책, 지역 활성화, 환경정책, 일자리·산업, 청년창업, 축제·문화기획 등 6개 분야에서 기획·연구·조사 활동으로 진행됐다고 했다.

원주시 조종용 부시장은 “금년도 처음 시행한 원주 청년리더 아카데미를 통하여 원주의 미래를 이끌어 갈 창조적인 청년리더를 발굴·양성하는 출발점이 되길 바란다.”며, “아카데미에 참여한 청년들도 스스로 정책에 대하여 깊이 있는 고민을 해 보는 계기가 되었기를 바란다.”라고 말했다.
