[김현우 기자 = 양주] 지난 16일 양주시는 4차 산업혁명시대를 맞아 경기도의 첨단 중심도시로의 변화와 성장을 위해 경기도일자리재단과 함께 운영한 ‘양주클라우드캠프’ 수료식을 진행하며 19명의 인재를 배출했다. 

‘양주클라우드캠프’는 4차 산업혁명시대의 산업수요에 적합한 클라우드 운영전문가를 양성하기 위해 지난 7월부터 도입・운영하는 사업으로 네이버클라우드, 디딤365, 웰데이터시스템, 콘텐츠브릿지, 넷케이티아이등 클라우드 분야 선도기업과 연계・협업해 실무인재를 양성하는 사업이다. 

양주시는 경기도의 첨단 중심도시로의 변화와 성장을 위해 지난 9월부터 클라우드 운영 전문가 과정을 시작했다. 

클라우드 운영 전문가 과정은 클라우드 분야 운영체제(리눅스 운영체제), 네트워크, 인프라 구축을 학습하고 클라우드 플랫폼 실무 프로젝트 수행을 통해 전문가를 양성하는 과정으로 (1단계) 클라우드 실무교육, (2단계) 협업전문가와 함께하는 직무부트, (3단계) 기업연계 현장실습으로 구성된 과정이다. 

이번 과정 수료생은 1단계로 클라우드 운영환경 및 플랫폼 운영 및 DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Teraform 등의 이론교육을 이수했으며, 2단계로는 디딤365, 웰데이터시스템의 현업 재직자와 함께 과제를 수행하면서 1:1 피드백을 받아보는 산학협력 멘토링을 통해 즉시 현장에 투입 가능한 인재로 성장했다.

더불어 수료생은 19일부터 약 2개월간 그동안 배운 실무지식을 기반으로 3단계인 현장실습을 진행하게 된다.

현장실습기업은 대한민국 클라우드 분야 선도기업인 디딤365, 웰데이터시스템, 콘텐츠브릿지, 넷케이티아이에서 진행될 예정으로 현장실습 이후 평가를 통해 채용으로 연계까지 가능한 상황이다. 

특히 수료식에 앞서 ‘코로나 대시보드’, ‘버스출발시간 예측’, ‘호텔예약서비스’등과 같은 프로젝트 최종발표회가 진행됐으며, 프로젝트 결과물은 현업에서 즉시 활용가능하다는 심사위원의 의견이 있었다는 후문이다. 

또한, 수료식에서 우수교육생에 대한 시상도 함께 진행하며 수료생들은 향후 클라우드 분야에서 제 역할을 톡톡히 해낼 것으로 기대된다. 

류경문 디딤365 상무이사는 “양주시 클라우드 과정은 클라우드 사업을 전문으로 하는 매니지드서비스사업자(MSP)에서 필요한 기술인재를 기업현장에 맞게 교육하고 우수한 학생을 선발할 수 있는 과정으로 클라우드사업 활성화에 기여하는 바가 크다”라고 말했다. 

양주시 관계자는 “양주시는 양주테크노벨리를 거점으로 경기도의 첨단 중심도시로 성장을 모색하고 있다”며 “이에 발맞춰 미래산업분야 청년인재 양성을 위해 지속적으로 노력할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
