[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 8일 ㈜톱텍과 (사)희망을나누는사람들은 포천시 봉사단체에 1억원 상당의 마스크 25만 6천장을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

마스크는 ㈜톱텍에서 후원했으며, (사)희망을나누는사람들을 통해 포천시에 전달돼 포천시 새마을회, 대한적십자사 포천지구협의회 등 관내 봉사단체 5곳과 경기행복마을관리소 4개소에 배분됐다고 했다.

(사)희망을나누는사람들은 지난 5월 포천시와 희망나눔연결운동 업무협약을 맺어 10명의 아동들에게 12개월 간 매월 5만원씩 장학금을 지원하고 있으며, 1억5천만원 상당의 장난감과 생필품, 추석명절에는 취약계층 지원을 위해 선물세트를 포천시에 전달한 바 있다고 전했다.

박윤국 포천시장은 “코로나19 확산으로 마스크 수요가 늘어가고 있는 가운데 마스크를 기부해주신 ㈜톱텍과 (사)희망을나누는사람들에 진심으로 감사드린다.”라며, “지역사회 발전과 방역 최전선에서 애쓰시는 자원봉사자들에게 유용하게 사용될 것”이라고 전했다.
