지난 11월 5일에는 거동이 불편해 외출이 어려운 어르신 부부께 가을 단풍구경과 소소한 일상을 선물하는 청계산책로 휠체어 산책 서비스를 제공했다고 전했다. 

어르신은 “자녀들도 하기 힘든 일을 일동면 행복마을관리소가 선뜻 해준 것에 너무 고맙다. 집에서 가까운 거리지만 몸이 불편해 올 수 없던 곳을 덕분에 방문할 수 있었다.”라며 감사함을 표했고, 행복마을관리소 관계자는 “앞으로도 마을 주민들을 위한 맞춤 서비스를 기획, 제공할 계획이다.”라고 말했다.

일동면 행복마을관리소는 마을순찰, 학생 등·하교 지원, 취약계층 돌봄, 마을 환경개선, 생활 밀착형 공공서비스 등 일상생활에서 발생하는 소소하지만 불편한 사항을 처리하며, 행정과 주민을 잇는 가교 역할을 하고 있다고 밝혔다.
