[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10일 수요일, 설악면 명예사회복지공무원 김성만님은 설악면행정복지센터를 방문하여 어려운 이웃을 위해 써달라며 성금 50만원을 불우이웃돕기 성금으로 기탁하였다고 밝혔다.

이번 성금은 경기사회복지공동모금회를 통해 사회적 돌봄이 필요한 취약계층 지원 활동에 사용될 예정이라고 전했다. 

김성만님은 “이번 성금 기탁은 아내와 상의한 끝에 도움이 필요한 이웃과 나누고자하는 뜻이 서로 맞아 결정하게 되었다.”며 “어렵고 힘들게 생활하는 이웃들에게 작게나마 보탬이 되었으면 좋겠다.”고 말했다.

성금을 전달받은 이범주 설악면장은 “적지 않은 금액을 선뜻 기부해주시는 따뜻한 마음 씀씀이에 진심으로 감사드리며, 기탁하신 성금은 도움이 꼭 필요한 분들에게 소중히 사용하겠다.”고 전했다.

김성만님은 설악면 송산2리 물미마을에 거주하고 있으며 설악면 명예사회복지공무원으로 활동하면서 고위험가구와 일대일 결연을 맺어 정기적으로 가정방문을 통한 안부확인 및 이웃돕기 성품 전달을 하는 등 나눔과 기부를 실천하는 아름다운 선행을 이어가고 있다고 했다.
