베러댄와플은 이전부터 보산동을 시작으로 불현동, 중앙동까지 지역을 넓혀 더 많은 저소득층 가정에 매월 정성스럽게 만든 와플을 기부하고 있으며, 최근 코로나19 확산으로 많은 가게들이 힘들어하는 상황에서도 시작한 선행을 멈추지 않고 있어 귀감이 되고 있다고 했다. 

베러댄와플 보산점 이지상 대표는 “경제적으로 힘든 상황이 계속되고 있지만 이런 때일수록 어려운 상황에 처한 아이들에 대한 관심이 필요하다고 생각해 후원을 계속하고 있다”며 “아이들이 와플을 받고 행복한 시간을 보내길 바란다”고 소감을 전했다.
