[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 24일 동두천시자원봉사센터는 두드림희망센터에서 성인 및 청소년 봉사자 100명이 참여한 가운데, ‘경기도 생명안전 커뮤니티 매핑 프로젝트’ 교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
 

이날은 코로나19 감염 예방을 위해 프로젝트 리더 10명만이 현장교육에 참석했으며, 나머지 90명은 온라인으로 교육에 참석했다고 말했다.
 

경기도자원봉사센터 지원 사업인 이번 교육은 커뮤니티매핑센터 임완수 박사의 커뮤니티 매핑 알기, 미세먼지 교육을 시작으로, 미세먼지 측정과 온라인 지도에 자료를 입력하는 실습으로 진행됐다고 했다.
 

이날 교육에 참여한 박인수 봉사자는 “사회적 문제인 미세먼지의 위험성에 대해 알 수 있어서 좋았고, 미세먼지 감소를 위해 시민 주도적으로 참여해야겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
 

한편, 교육 참여자들은 앞으로 지역사회 미세먼지 측정 및 기록과 일상생활 속 탄소중립 실천 캠페인을 진행해나갈 예정이라고 전했다.
