[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 지난 1월 1일 11시 가평읍 달전리 현충탑에서 신년 현충탑 참배행사로 2023년 계묘년(癸卯年) 첫 군정업무를 시작했다고 2일 밝혔다. 

이날 행사에는 서태원 군수, 최정용군의회 의장 및 의원, 최춘식 국회의원, 보훈단체장, 부군수 및 5급 이상 공무원 등 70여명이 참석한 가운데 묵념, 헌화 및 분향 순으로 진행됐다.

참배행사 이후 참석자들은 오찬 겸 단배식을 가지며 올 한해 군정발전과 군민의 삶이 질 향상을 위한 새로운 각오를 다졌다. 

서태원 가평군수는 “2023년 계묘년 새해에는 가평군민의 안녕을 소원하며, 지금보다 더 나은 가평군을 위하여 우리 모두 힘차게 나아갑시다” 라고 새해 포부를 밝혔다.
