[김준호 기자 = 정선군] 정선군은 안전·참여·소통으로 성평등한 미래도시 정선이란 비전으로 안전하고 성평등한 여성친화도시, 평등한 참여가 있는 균형도시, 소통으로 함께하는 상생도시 등 3대 정책과제와 6개 추진전략, 16개 세부시책, 33개 세부사업을 확정했다고 밝혔다. 

정선군은 안전참여소통으로 성평등한 미래도시 정선을 만들기 위해 정선형 양성평등정책기본계획 수립을 완료하고 시행에 주력하고 있으며 정선형 양성평등정책기본계획은 정선의 양성평등정책 추진여건을 분석하고 양성평등 정책과제 및 사업을 제안하여 정선군민의 양성평등과 인권 향상을 위한 정책 방향을 제시함에 그 목적이 있다. 

읍·면별 주요 연계사업으로는 장애청소년 대상 방과후 돌봄 및 학습지원 프로그램 제공을 위한 장애청소년 데이케어센터 건립 운영, 공공주택 우선 입주 지원 등을 위한 한부모가족 주거지원, 고령자들의 병의원 및 외출 동행 지원을 위한 어르신 동행지원 서비스 제공 등을 추진할 계획이며 여성기술학교 운영으로 생활인프라 맞춤형 교육 진행, 지역별 여성이 참여하는 성평등 문화제, 여성창업인 창업시범사업 추진 등 평등하고 지속가능한 지역사회를 만들기 위한 다양한 사업을 추진하며 군에서는 전 군민대상 정책수요조사를 비롯해 공무원 인식조사, 읍‧면별 주민 및 관련 단체 관계자 간담회를 통해 읍‧면별 특성과 욕구를 반영하여 사업을 발굴‧연계하는 등 정선형 양성평등정책 추진 조성에 박차를 가해 나간다는 방침이다.
