[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 서태원 가평군수는 민선8기 군정 비전과 방침을 확정하고 본격적인 군정시작을 알렸다.

군정비전은 “자연을 경제로 꽃피우는 도시, 가평”으로, 가평만이 가지고 있는 천혜의 자연자원을 미래성장 동력인 문화 및 관광 산업으로 견인하여 경제성장을 도모하고 힐링과 행복으로 하나되는 가평특별군으로 거듭나고자 하는 바램을 담았다.

군정방침은 다섯가지로 “지금보다 더(The) 가평(GP)”을 메인테마로 1. 자연환경은 더 아름답게, 2. 군민생활을 더 풍요롭게, 3. 지역문화는 더 다채롭게, 4. 주민참여는 더 활발하게, 5. 주민안전은 더 세심하게 정했다. 

서태원 가평군수는 “민선8기는 자연, 경제, 힐링, 행복 등의 키워드로 가평군민의 삶 전반이 한걸음 더 나아지게 하려는 의지를 군민들이 이해하기 쉬운 용어로 표현하였다”라고 밝혔다.

앞서 가평군은 군정슬로건으로 “힐링과 행복, 하나되는 가평특별군”으로 정한바 있으며, 비전 및 5대 군정 방침 실현을 위한 군민 정책 아이디어 공모전을 실시할 계획이다.
