이에 시는 주차위반 자동차 견인 조례에 전동킥보드를 포함하는 것을 시작으로, 지난 8월 1일부터 시민들이 불법 주정차 된 전동킥보드를 간편하게 신고하고 처리결과까지 확인할 수 있는 ‘민원신고시스템’을 도내 최초로 운영하고 있다.

오는 9월부터는 전동킥보드 민원이 접수되면 강제로 견인 조치하고, 전동킥보드 운영업체를 대상으로 견인료를 부과할 방침이며, 또한, 올해 안으로 전동킥보드 전용 주차구역을 330면에서 1,000여 면으로 대폭 확대할 계획이다.
