체납자 명단공개는 지방세징수세법 제11조 ‘고액·상습체납자 명단공개’ 및 같은 법 시행령 제19조 ‘고액·상습체납자 명단공개’의 규정에 따라 체납발생일로부터 1년이 지난 지방세 체납액이 1천만원 이상인 자에 대해 실시한다고 했다.

이번 명단공개 대상자는 개인 39명, 법인 12개소로 총 체납액은 1,551백만원에 달하며, 명단에는 체납자의 성명·상호(법인명), 연령, 주소, 체납액의 세목·납기, 체납액, 체납요지가 공개되고, 법인이 체납한 경우에는 대표자도 함께 공개되며, 공개대상 명단은 포천시 홈페이지와 경기도 홈페이지에 공개된다고 전했다.

포천시 관계자는 “고액·상습체납자에 대하여는 금융기관 예금 일괄조회, 은닉재산 추적조사 및 행정규제 등을 통해 체납액 징수에 최선을 다하고 납세의무를 시민의식으로 정착시켜 공평과세 구현 및 조세정의를 실천하겠다.”라고 전했다.
