지난 28일 경기농촌활성화지원센터에서 열린 콘테스트에 참가한 초롱이둥지마을은 문화 소외지역의 농촌 마을의  문화·복지 프로그램 운영 성과 및 선주민과 후주민의 공동체활동을 통한 주민 간 화합을 이뤄낸 결과라고 전했다.

이번 ‘제9회 행복농촌만들기 콘테스트’는 농식품부의 주민 주도 마을만들기 성과의 공유·확산을 통한 주민주도 지역개발 역량 강화를 위해 2014년부터 「행복농촌 만들기 콘테스트」를 추진하고 있는 전국 콘테스트 대회라고 했다. 

행복농촌만들기 콘테스트는 시·군에서 자발적으로 추진하고 있는 마을만들기 우수사례를 발굴, 확산시킴으로써 공동체의 화합 및 지역활성화를 도모하기 위해 실시하고 있다고 전했다.

초롱이둥지마을 대표를 비롯한 주민 10여 명은 콘테스트에서 마을에서 문화복지프로그램을 통한 공동체의 변화를 주제로 마을사례를 소개하고 주민의 행복감을 표현하는 등의 퍼포먼스를 선보여 마을공동체가 잘 이뤄지고 있다는 평가를 받았다고 했다.

초롱이둥지마을은 마을공동체 프로그램으로 바리스타 운영, 봉재교실, 식생활개선 프로그램, 캘리그라피, 웃음치료, 등산모임, 마을영화관, 막걸리 교실, 와인교실, 한식조리사반, 천연염색 등 총 12개 이상의 프로그램을 운영하고 있다고 했다.

이번 콘테스트에는 도내 시·군과 마을 등 4곳이 참여했으며 서류심사 및 현장심사를 거쳐 문화복지, 체험소득, 경관환경 등 4개 분야로 치러졌다고 했다.
