[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 18일 농업기술센터와 사단법인 한국식품기술사협회는 농업기술센터에서 지역농산물의 부가가치 증진 및 농가소득 향상을 위해 ‘태백시 농산물 가공기술 지원사업 상호업무협약’을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 농산물종합가공센터와 창업경영체의 가공 시설 및 제품개발, 운영․유통등에 있어 전문적이고 종합적인 기술자문과 농업인 맞춤 교육․컨설팅을 제공하기 위하여 추진됐다고 전했다.  

농업기술센터 김석윤 소장은 “국내 최고의 식품전문기술 단체인 한국식품기술사협회와의 업무협약으로 식품기술사들이 보유하고 있는 전문지식과 산업현장에서 축적된 노하우로 농산물 가공현장의 애로사항을 실질적으로 해결하고 농업인들에게 양질의 가공관련 교육과 맞춤형 현장 컨설팅을 제공하는데 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
