[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4월 18일, 평창군은 봉평면 대회의실에서 도시가스 미공급지역에 LPG소형저장탱크 및 공급배관 등 시설 설치와 비용 지원을 통하여 취사 및 난방 연료비를 절감시키고 LPG가스 사용으로 안전성과 편리성을 확보하는 농어촌 마을단위 LPG 소형저장탱크 보급사업 주민설명회를 진행했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 주민설명회는 기존 수요조사에서 사업을 신청한 봉평면 창동리 주민들과 봉평초등학교 학부모회 회원들이 참석하였고, 한국LPG배관망사업단에서 LPG 소형저장탱크 보급사업의 전반적인 사업내용과 향후 계획 안내 및 사업에 대한 주민들의 질문사항 등 의견을 수렴하여 원활한 사업추진을 위한 바탕을 마련하는 시간이 되었다고 했다.

이정균 경제건설국장은“이번 농어촌 마을단위 LPG 소형저장탱크 보급사업의 원활한 진행을 통해 도시가스 미공급 지역에 LPG가스 사용의 안전성과 편리성이 제공되어, 주민들이 연료비 절감효과 등 경제적 이익을 누릴 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 전했다.
