[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시 평생교육원 시립도서관은 관내 초등학교 돌봄교실을 방문하여 책 읽어주기 활동을 하는 경기은빛독서나눔이 사업에 참여할 교육생을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

경기은빛독서나눔이 사업은 현역에서 은퇴하신 어르신을 독서코칭 교육 이수 후 관내 초등학교 돌봄교실에 파견하는 사업으로 은퇴 어르신들의 자기계발과 경제활동, 사회봉사, 1․3세대 간 친밀감 형성에 도움을 주는 것으로 평가받고 있다고 했다.

모집대상은 주민등록지가 동두천시이며 1956년부터 1965년생인 시민을 대상으로 오는 3월 15일부터 3월 16일까지 동두천시립도서관 1층 운영실로 본인이 신분증과 서류를 지참하여 접수하면 되고, 코로나19 방역 수칙을 준수하며 대면방식으로 운영될 이번 교육은 오는 3월 22일부터 4월 22일까지 매주 화요일 및 금요일 오전 10시부터 12시까지 10회에 걸쳐 ‘독서교육이란?’, ‘그림책의 이해’, ‘하부르타’ 등에 대한 이론 및 시연 교육 후 평가를 통해 5명을 선발할 예정이며 오는 5월부터 초등학교 돌봄교실에 파견될 계획이라고 전했다.
