군은 올해 야생동물 피해예방시설 설치비 4천2백만 원을 지원해 40개소에 태양전지식 야생동물 퇴치기 등 설치를 지원한다고 전했다.

최근 3년간 야생동물로 인한 농작물 피해규모를 보면 지난 2019년 245건 148,511㎡, 2020년 169건 147,311㎡, 2021년 114건 75,312㎡로 피해예방시설 설치 등으로 인해 해를 거듭할수록 피해면적이 감소하고 있는 추세이며, 이에 야생동물의 접근을 막기 위한 태양전지식 전기목책기로 설치비용의 일부인 60%를 지원하며, 농가당 최대 300만원까지 지원하고, 야생동물 피해 예방시설 설치를 희망하는 농가는 오는 25일까지 주소지 읍·면사무소로 사업신청서를 제출하면 된다고 했다.
