[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 12월 17일 동두천시 형제군납에서 동두천시청을 방문해 관내 취약계층을 위해 성금 300만원을 기부했다고 밝혔다.

형제군납은 동두천 소재 부대를 대상으로 군용식품을 납품하는 업체로 지속적으로 지역의 어려운 주민들에게 따뜻한 나눔을 선사하고 있으며, 작년에는 관내 취약계층을 위해 베지밀 100박스를 기부했다고 했다.

김현수 형제군납 대표는 “작은 나눔이지만 복지사각지대에 놓인 분들이 조금이나마 따듯한 마음을 느꼈으면 좋겠다”고 전했다.

동두천시 관계자는 “항상 지역 사회의 어려운 이웃들을 위해 꾸준한 나눔을 실천해주셔서 감사하다. 기부해주신 성금은 도움의 손길이 필요한 분들에게 잘 전달될 수 있도록 하겠다”고 전했다.
