[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 11월 15일 강원경찰청과 한국인터넷진흥원(KISA)은 전기통신금융사기 근절을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 업무협약은 강원경찰청과 한국인터넷진흥원이 전기통신금융사기로 인한 국민 피해를 사전에 예방·차단할 시스템을 구축하겠다는 적극적 의지로 성사됐다고 했다.

이번 업무협약을 통해 한국인터넷진흥원은 전기통신금융사기 스팸문자·오토콜 발송번호를 강원경찰청에 제공하고, 강원경찰청은 범죄 유인 의심문자를 즉시 이용중지 조치한다고 했다.

또한, 강원경찰청은 한국인터넷진흥원으로부터 제공받은 자료를 활용하여 예방활동에 집중하고, 문자 계정 정보 등 역추적 수사를 통해 전기통신금융사기 조직을 검거하는 투-트랙 전략을 구사한다는 방침이라고 했다.

수신자가 전기통신금융사기 유인 의심문자를 수신한 경우, 수신자에게 범죄 의심 문자임을 알리는 사전경고메시지를 발송하는 시스템도 구축할 예정이라고 했다.

이번 업무협약은 전기통신금융사기 범죄를 목적으로 불특정 다수의 일반인을 대상으로 발송하는 의심문자 전화번호를 피해발생 前 신속히 차단한다는데 큰 의미가 있다고 전했다.

강원경찰청은 한국인터넷진흥원과의 업무협약을 통해 전기통신금융사기 범죄를 사전 예방함과 동시에 범죄조직 검거 등 전기통신금융사기 범죄를 근절하겠다고 밝혔다.
