가평군은 지역먹거리 생산기반을 마련하기 위하여 지난 7월에 감자, 무, 양파, 양배추 4품목 생산출하 참여희망 30농가를 모집하였고, 출하농산물을 수집,운송,저장,가공하여 관내 소비처(급식처 등)에 공급을 담당할 유통법인 모집공고를 통해 신청받아 일정한 시설규모와 경력을 갖춘 법인을 선정하게 된 것이라고 했다.
