[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 8일 GH는 어버이날을 맞이해 지난 6~7일에 국민임대주택 입주민을 대상으로 '가정의달 행복나눔' 행사를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이 날 행사는 안성공도, 하남풍산 국민임대 아파트에 거주하는 70세 이상 독거 어르신 190명에게 방향제와 간식을 나누면서 존경과 감사의 인사를 전하고자 마련됐다고 했다. 

국민임대주택에 거주하는 한 어르신은 “GH가 진행하는 행사로 인해 주변 이웃과 오랜만에 안부도 묻고, 단지 내에 활기가 돌아 기쁘다.” 며 감사의 마음을 전했다.

장동우 GH 주거사업본부장은 “이번 활동을 통해 독거 어르신들이 어버이날을 따뜻하게 보내시는데 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바라며, 앞으로도 지역사회에 사랑을 실천하고 나눔 문화 정착에 기여하도록 노력하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
