이번 산불로 인한 인명피해는 없었으며, 잔불진화 종료 후에는 산불이 재발되지 않도록 뒷불감시도 철저를 기할 계획이고, 금회 산불발생 원인에 대하여 철저히 규명하여 엄벌조치 하겠다고 밝혔다.

북부지방산림청장은 “봄철 건조한 날씨가 지속되면서 산불위험이 높은 상황”이라며, “중앙산불방지대책본부를 중심으로 신속한 초동진화를 위한 비상근무태세에 만전을 기하겠다”고 밝혔다.
