[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 지난 12일, 시정회의실에서 도시계획위원회를 재구성하고 위촉장을 수여했다고 전했다.

이번 위원회 구성은 총 25명으로, 공무원 4명, 시의원 1명, 유관기관 1명, 민간위원 19명으로 구성했으며, 19명 중 9명은 신규 위촉하고, 위원회 운영의 연속성을 고려해 기존위원 10명은 재위촉했다고 밝혔다.

이번에 구성된 도시계획위원회는 앞으로 2년간 포천시가 지향할 도시의 방향과 시장이 결정하는 도시관리계획 결정 및 개발행위허가와 관련된 자문과 심의 등 포천시 도시계획 정책 결정에 심의와 자문을 하게 된다고 했다. 

정덕채 포천시장 권한대행은 위촉장 수여 후 “시민이 중심이 되고 역사와 미래가 공존할 수 있는 지속 가능한 포천의 도시발전을 위해 다양한 학식과 경험을 충분히 발휘하여 ‘평화 시대 남북경협 거점도시 포천’이 될 수 있도록 적극적으로 노력해 달라.”고 당부했다.
