이날 근로자 대표, 사용자대표, 노사관계·고용·경제·사회문제 관계자 등 8명에게 위촉장을 수여했으며, 노사관계 및 지역경제 발전을 위해 함께 논의했다고 말했다.

특히, 코로나19로 인해 경제위기가 지속되고 있는 현시점에서 노사민정 간의 현황을 공유하고 한뜻으로 합심하여 위기를 극복해 나가고자 사회적 거리두기 방역지침을 준수하여 대면 회의로 진행되었다고 했다.

노사민정협의회는 노사현안 및 일자리창출과 노동시장 활성화 등의 중요한 역할을 수행하는 지역 내 최고 고용노동거버넌스로 최근 지속적인 노동자 안전사고 발생과 취약노동자들의 처우개선 등 노동환경 개선을 위한 현장의 목소리를 듣는 자리였으며 노동정책의 방향 등이 제시되었다고 했다.

안병용 의정부시장은 “코로나19로 인한 비상상황에서도 노동의 각 현장에서 열심히 노력하시는 위원들과 함께 노동자들의 근로환경 및 처우개선을 위해 지속적인 관심과 노력을 기울일 것이다.”라며, “앞으로도 각 분야 관계자는 노동정책에 관심을 갖고 어려운 환경에 노출되어 있는 근로자를 보호하고, 체감할 수 있는 정책이 발굴되고 실현될 수 있도록 노력해달라.”고 당부했다.
